Taking pictures of people taking pictures
This is a quick mini series based around the ever increasing lack of enjoying a moment or being in a moment when around something great. In the same way as a gig has become many upheld smart phones taking pictures rather than people embracing the feel of the live music. I've always had an interest in taking pictures of people taking pictures, not just for the inception aspect of it but it's cementation as photography as a core part of our daily lives. Not a day goes by when we will not create or consume images whether it's on a billboard or to better describe a situation or scenario to a friend. This particular set of images were shot in Paris, which historically was the place that photography was 'announced to the world' in 1839, particularly around the area approaching the Eiffel Tower which is easily one of the most recognisable structures on earth.
